Don't Underestimate Your Influence Over Others
Most of us underestimate the power and
influence we have over others. The truth is that you can, and do,
have great influence over others. You have the ability to turn a
person's bad day into a good day, a grouch into a friendly person,
even a person with a complaint into a person happy with how they’re
being treated. That's why customer service diplomacy is so
important.
Today’s complex world puts greater
demands on our time, with more job pressures and everyday glitches.

An obviously

In life things go up and they go down. For your best peace of
mind, have your investments in a variety of assets. The same thing
goes for your business: don't just depend upon cash sales, diversify

In 1972 when the General Social Survey (funded by the

to work with those who are different from them for the common good.

Distrust, on the other hand, seems to encourage
corruption. At the least, it diverts energy to counting change,
drawing up 100-page legal contracts and building gated communities.
Bottom-line: For four decades now, trust in the other fellow — a
gut-level ingredient of democracy — has been quietly draining away.
