LeBron James Understands Power Of Barter
The superstar NBA basketball player, 26, closed a big barter deal
April 6 by cementing a deal wherein he acquires an ownership
position in the legendary Liverpool FC, one of the world�s richest
and most popular soccer clubs.
In exchange, the owners of the Liverpool club, hedge fund mogul John
Henry and Hollywood entrepreneur Tom Werner (aka the Fenway Sports
Group), get the worldwide marketing rights to LeBron James.
The
Fenway Sports Group also own the Boston Red Sox baseball team, the
New England Sports Network (NESN) and other impressive assets.
