Multiple Reservations Create Havoc

Restaurant owners report a trend of multiple restaurant bookings. Guys have been known to make a reservation at an Italian restaurant and a French restaurant, then asking their date, “What kind of food do you want?”

Ultimately when that happens the party will select a restaurant at the last minute, but fail to call the other establishment to cancel. This leaves the rejected restaurant sitting with an empty table and waiting for the party that reserved it. It’s definitely a no-win situation for the restaurant.
