Hendersons Take On GDP Measurements
Noted futurist Hazel Henderson says a nations Gross
Domestic Product measurement provides an incomplete and
inadequate measurement of national progress. She says GDP
undervalues the real wealth, for example, of Greece,
Ireland, Portugal, and Spain by ignoring their well-educated
workforces, efficient infrastructures and productive
ecosystems all missing in GDP measurements.

Exposure Is Super
Bowls Barter Payment
Performers at the Super Bowls 15-minute halftime show are paid via
barter you perform and we will provide unprecedented exposure
over 100 million pair of eyes! The Black Eyed Peas, this years

Dont Let Anger Take
Over ...
Just as it takes time
for a person to learn to become a hothead, it can take years to
become skillful at dealing with anger. Although no one method works
for everyone, experts offer these tips to keep frustration from
turning into rage:
-
Admit you have a
problem.
-
Try to witness your
behavior. When youre driving, for example, observe how closely
you follow other cars. What do you do that might be angering
other people? Work on modifying your behavior.
-
Learn new responses
to behaviors that previously would have provoked you. Rather
than yelling or making obscene gestures at a driver who has cut
you off try singing. Or make a joke about it must have been
that burned toast he had for breakfast!
This alters your breathing pattern and slows the rush of
adrenaline coursing through your body. Then start talking to
yourself, saying, This is so obviously not worth getting worked
up over.
-
Examine your
relationship with the offending party, and question the amount
of power you want the person to have over your emotions.
-
Distract yourself
from the frustration. By changing your mental focus, you can
temporarily reduce your anger level and hopefully keep from
doing or saying things youll regret.
-
Count to ten. Take
deep breaths to block your usual flash of anger.
-
Watch caffeine and
alcohol intake. Caffeine promotes anxiety and irritability.
Alcohol and drugs can spur acting out.
-
Take extra time for
traveling and other activities so you dont get upset by things
slowing you down.
-
Remind yourself of
the impact anger has on health. Tirades increase the chances
that someone will attack you, they can boost blood pressure,
trigger premature heart attacks plus lead to ulcers, strokes,
and digestive problems.
-
Loosen up! Dont be
so easily offended by anothers actions. You cant control
others, but you can control yourself.
-
Lastly, seek help if
the above suggestions dont work.
